Storyboard Process

Storyboarding is a key step in the development of interactive software.

We begin with a flowchart to identify the main categories of information and how they are related.

For each individual screen, the writer composes the first draft of the message. A schematic drawing shows how the components of the message are related.

As the message is refined, an artist creates a first draft image to illustrate the main point. Sidebar notes provide an easy way for client and vendor to make notes about the design.

With the text message in its final draft, the artist creates a more refined image with a tight integration to the message.

With client approval of the message and sketch, the artist creates a final color rendering of the image.
