DynamicAccess is 3Com's name for a set of products designed for the next generation of network computing. The configuration of enterprise networks remains a complicated task, even for IS professionals. In a climate of rapid evolution of networking strategies, 3Com wanted a presentation that illustrates 3Com's products in the context of realistic network scenarios. Kallisto Productions, Inc. created an animated presentation that communicates emerging technology with a professional sophistication that can be understood by all levels of IS professionals.

Using Kallisto's proprietary animation engine based on Java, the CD-ROM based presentation was adapted for display on the World Wide Web. Anyone with a Java-enabled browser can view the presentation without downloading a plug-in.

Graphics, text and animation accompany each main point. A voice-over allows the user to concentrate on the animation. There are two modes of interaction. In Autoplay mode, each section runs continuously. In Manual Play, the user clicks arrows to set their own pace.

For use on a tradeshow floor, the presenter can choose a number of custom settings including, limiting attendee interaction, muting the sound and choosing which sections will run inside a continous loop.
